We are currently recruiting for passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in the Newquay area for both part-time and full-time roles.
About the role:
Start Date – ASAP
Hours – 8:30-3:30
Days – Monday to Friday (Flexible)
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking to recruit hardworking and patient Teaching Assistants to work within Primary Schools in the Newquay area. The roles will consist of supporting the teacher and children with general classroom assistance and being on hand to provide extra support to children on a 1:1 basis when required. We currently have both part time, day to day supply roles and full-time roles available within the area.
This is a great opportunity to introduce yourself to different schools within your area and gain experience working across a variety of primary year groups.
While previous experience working with children is desirable, it is by no means essential to be a successful Teaching Assistant and we are here to fully support you!
A successful Teaching Assistant will:
- Bring a confident nature to the classroom and good behaviour management skills.
- Be able to create good relationships with the pupils and staff to keep a positive learning environment.
- Be supportive and on hand to assist the teacher by following instructions or using initiative.
- Have experience personally or in a working environment with children.
Requirement Criteria:
- An Enhanced Child Only DBS (Teaching Personnel can help with this!)
- An updated CV
- Be able to provide required documents, such as proofs of address and ID.
- 2x professional references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
