Job description

Are you a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) looking for a placement in the new academic year? Are you looking at working in a school that could support your teacher induction year? Do you live in Scarborough or surrounding areas? Has your placement been brought to an early end due to school closures and the Covid-19 crisis? Teaching Personnel is recruiting Newly Qualified Teachers to support you with finding a job for September!
Teaching Personnel works with schools across Scarborough and the Yorkshire Coast, who trust us to find the right fit for their permanent and temporary vacancies. Joining Teaching Personnel's NQT Pool will give you access to potential employers and valuable support as you look to start your teaching career in these unprecedented times.
When you join Teaching Personnel's NQT Pool, our consultants will build up an in-depth profile of your skills, abilities and personality and discuss your job aspirations. We will also cover what additional support you may need to access from our support packs to make the start to your career a success.
We then take the profile we have built up (including a short video introduction) and speak to schools looking to recruit Newly Qualified Teachers to find the perfect match between you and the school.
The NQT Pool from Teaching Personnel offers real benefits for you:
- A quick and simple route to find potential employers during the period of school closures
- Removes the burden of making multiple job applications during these challenging times
- Gives you a range of options and opportunities to secure teaching work for September
- Access to additional training materials to support NQTs whose training has been cut short by the coronavirus outbreak
The members of the NQT Pool will also receive free access to six online support packs provided by our sister company Best Practice Network. Each pack contains six hours of content aligned to both the Teacher Standards and Early Career Framework and are designed to support the practice of Teachers.
To join Teaching Personnel's Newly Qualified Teachers Pool, please upload your CV by following the link on this page. Alternatively, please call Eli Stokes in branch to discuss further. If you don't have a CV at the ready, please head to our website and register your details here: https://www.teachingpersonnel.com/nqt-pool
