Newly Qualified Teacher - Full time - Feltham, Hounslow - September 2020

Teaching Personnel specialise in supporting newly qualified teachers, this includes having vacancies for NQT positions across a range of primary, secondary and SEN schools. 

We are currently recruiting for a NQT to work within a large three form entry school based in the centre of Feltham, Hounslow. As an NQT you will complete relevant reports and course work, whilst teaching and learning new ways to approach learning. 

The role?

As a newly qualified teacher you will complete your initial teacher training, being supported throughout the process by a dedicated mentor. You will be teaching within a KS1 class, working closely with your mentor, the year leader and other class teachers to provide a high quality of teaching. Through the support of your mentor you will complete regular reports to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of teaching, aiming to help develop your skills in a number of ways. 

There will be a number of responsibilties that you will be supported through by your mentor, including parents evenings - providing suitable and relevant feedback/support to parents and carers. 

The school?

The large three form entry school has seen a number of changes in the past few years, recently amalgamating they have worked tirelessly to build a close knit community for all staff, students and parents/carers. They have seen vast improvements in attainment across the school, focusing on the progress of each individual student. Based in the heart of Feltham they have  created a positive learning environment that focuses on all students to embracing eachother's difficerences - celebrating all cultures, faiths, religions, familt dynamics and backgrounds. 

They have a high number of EAL and SEN students that has received continuous specialised support and structure from their senior leadership team. They are ideally looking for a passionate and dedicated member of staff to work closely as part of a team, embracing the prospect of a long career within the school.

Ideal candidate?

- Newly qualified teacher (e.g. PGCE or SCITT)

- Confident working with students with EAL/SEN 

- Passionate and enthusiastic 

- Confident behaviour management technique

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
