Newly Qualified Teacher - Isleworth, Hounslow - September 2020 

We are currently recruiting for a Newly Qualified Teacher to work within a KS2 class in a school in Isleworth, Hounslow. Teaching Personnel work with a number of schools to provide them with the opportunity to complete their NQT year, this role will be based within a year 1 class. 

As a two form entry school in Heston they are looking for a passionate member of staff to work closely with their year lead and KS2 department. Alongside their numerous opportunities for staff to develop they do offer inhouse teacher training, allowing teaching assistants and other members of staff to consider taking the teaching route. 

This schools takes pride in their ability to help support newly qualified teachers and potential future teachers, they have a number of provisions in place to help throughout their studies and placements - seeing great feedback from previous students regarding the support they received. 

The role? 

This NQT position will consist of working within a year 4 class, having a class to lead and maintain progress/development reports. Whilst this opportunity will give you the responsibility of your own class you will receive guidance from an allocated mentor. With this additional support you will be able to develop your teaching ability and approach to each individual students. There will be allocated time to complete assessments and tasks, including time to reflect on your progress with your mentor. 

Alongside this you will conduct parents evenings, meetings and reports to parents, carers and other members of staff alongside your year lead.

This two form entry school has recently received a good Ofsted report, demonstrating their ability to put key points in their school focus to develop. They are a close community that prides themselves on support all of their students, including having high numbers of SEN and EAL students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
