EYFS/Reception NQT or Early Career Teacher

Teaching Personnel are very excited to represent a wonderful Primary School seeking an Early Years or Reception Teacher to start in September 2020. This two-form entry primary school was graded Ofsted Outstanding in its most recent inspection (June 2017) and is very conveniently located a short walk from both St James’s Park and Victoria tube stations with links to Victoria, District and  Circle lines..

The School aspires to be a happy, vibrant and successful community where everyone tries their best. The school has a strong focus on providing a creative and stimulating learning environment for all learners so that they can achieve the highest possible standards in all they do. The Head teacher is a brilliant leader who has driven forward remarkable changes whilst in role to the extent pupils, parents and staffs say the school is an amazing place. One parent quote went so far as to say ‘Everything about this school is fantastic’!

The school is well resourced and even has a new ‘STEM’ room designed to support teachers deliver science, technology computing and maths lessons. Staff work hard to instil an early love for learning and the school has a focus on parallel development of our children’s personal, social and academic skills. With the care placed on making their pupils feel valued, pupil behaviour is impeccable and their attitudes to learning are extremely positive.

The school really likes to grow and develop their own teachers and are particularly looking for NQTs or Early Career Teachers. Teachers currently at the school speak very positively of the environment and are proud to be a member of the team. They believe leaders have created a climate in which teachers are trusted to take risks and innovate in ways that are right for the pupils. If this sounds like the right environment for you, the key criteria the school will be looking for from you are:

  • Experience working in Early Years or Reception, ideally as a teaching placement
  • Good references from your most recent schools
  • A drive to really build a career in teaching in an outstanding environment
  • UK QTS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
