Music Teacher – Torfaen – Pay in line with Welsh Framework (Min £157.66 per day)

Job Type: Full-Time (08:30am-15:30pm Monday to Friday) – Permanent role.

Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and qualified Music Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the Torfaen area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education, a genuine enthusiasm for teaching, and the ability to inspire students to develop their musical talents.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive music curricula for various age groups and skill levels.
  • Conduct engaging and interactive music lessons that cater to different learning styles.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.
  • Organize and lead school concerts, recitals, and other musical events to showcase students' achievements.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects and activities.
  • Stay current with advancements in music education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teaching Status.
  • NQT’s are welcomed to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of music theory, history, and various musical genres.
  • Proficiency in playing and teaching multiple instruments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
