Contract Type: Full-time / Flexible
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher looking for your next exciting opportunity in a supportive and thriving secondary school in Redcar?

We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a proven track record of teaching music in UK secondary schools. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant school community where music is celebrated and nurtured both in and outside the classroom.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching music
  • Proven experience delivering engaging music lessons in a UK secondary school
  • Excellent classroom management skills and a positive, proactive approach
  • Strong school-based references
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver inspiring music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Differentiate lessons to cater to varying learning styles and abilities
  • Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Create a positive learning environment where pupils feel supported and encouraged
  • Promote music as an extracurricular subject, supporting school concerts, choirs, and clubs
  • Uphold school safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
