Are you an enthusiastic and fully qualified Music Teacher with a passion for inspiring young minds? A forward-thinking secondary school in Portsmouth, committed to nurturing creativity and fostering academic growth are looking for a dedicated Music Teacher to join their team from September.

 

About the Role:


You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive music lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. As part of the dynamic and supportive teaching staff, you will:

  • Develop and teach a rich and stimulating music curriculum that caters to a diverse student body.

  • Track and support the academic and personal development of your students, encouraging each individual to thrive.

  • Create a classroom environment that motivates learners and encourages them to explore their musical potential.

  • Play an active role in improving student outcomes and fostering a love of learning.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS and a specialism in Music.

  • Someone with a track record of effective teaching and a genuine passion for music education.

  • A team player who is committed to collaborative working and continuous professional development.

  • An individual who shares the schools vision of developing well-rounded, reflective, and high-achieving students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
