Permanent role.
Salary: M1 – UPS3
As a member of the Performing and Creative Arts Faculty, you will play a vital role in providing a diverse range of opportunities for students to explore their musical talents and unlock their creative potential.
As a Music Teacher, you will:
- Inspire and educate students from all backgrounds in the wonders of music.
- Lead engaging and interactive lessons that cater to various learning styles.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages musical exploration and personal growth.
- Collaborate with the departments talented team of arts educators to develop innovative projects and performances.
- Equip students with the technical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary for their musical development.
- Nurture student’s confidence and self-expression through regular rehearsals, concerts, and recitals.
We are seeking a dynamic individual who:
- Holds a relevant degree and possesses qualified teacher status (QTS).
- Demonstrates a deep understanding and passion for music, with expertise in teaching various instruments and musical styles.
- Has experience in planning and delivering engaging music lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Excels in fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Embraces a collaborative approach to working within a vibrant team of arts professionals.
- Is committed to creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where all students can flourish.
