Salary: £40,266 - £61,592 (Inner London MPS/UPS)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available)

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)

Foster a love of music through practical, theoretical, and performance-based learning

Organise and lead extracurricular music opportunities, including ensembles, choirs, and school productions

Use assessment effectively to support pupil progress and celebrate musical achievement
-
Contribute to a positive and ambitious department culture that promotes high standards and inclusivity
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Experience teaching Music in a secondary setting
-
Strong subject knowledge across a broad music curriculum, including composition, performance, and theory
-
A commitment to inclusive practice and high expectations for all pupils
-
The ability to inspire creativity, confidence, and a love for learning
