Music Practitioner – September 2023 start date

We are currently recruiting for a Music Practitioner who is available to work full time based in a fantastic secondary school for children aged 11-18 in their music department. We are looking for an experienced Music Practitioner who is passionate about striving for the best, always motivating students to believe in themselves and to always aim to help them in reaching their full potential.

Full time

Pay: £140-£180

Location: Hounslow

Start date: September 2023

Responsibilities:

  • Teach students music
  • Collaborate with other performing arts departments
  • Teach students to play an instrument
  • Teach students to read and understand music
  • Set assignments and mark and assess students work
  • Prepare students for music exams and performances

The ideal candidate:

  • Will be passionate about teaching Music to encourage students to be excited about the subject
  • Will be patient and create a positive learning environment
  • Will be organised
  • Will be prepared and have fun and enjoyable lessons planned

The ideal candidate:

  • QTS
  • PGCE
  • Will have knowledge of the UK Music curriculum
  • Previous in school experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
