Music teacher full time maternity role in Farnborough from September 2020

We are currently recruiting for a full time qualified teacher of music to undertake a maternity position teaching in a large good rated secondary school in Farnborough. You will be placed on a temporary contract for the duration of this role and will be paid to your current scale point (MPS/UPS) from GBP24373 to GBP46877 dependant on experience. This post is likely to continue until at least April 2021.
This school is looking for a motivated and passionate teacher who is able to encourage the learning of all students at all levels of attainment. Being involved with the extra curricular projects within the school is encouraged.
This role is suitable for NQTs and you will be fully supported throughout the time you work here with two mentors one based in Music alongside a member of SLT.
You will be planning and marking work in Music in lieu of the normal classroom teacher, with the support of the head of department and the rest of the faculty.
During the period of time at the school you will be working through Teaching Personnel the largest education staff provider in the country, we sort out all of the admin for the school and yourself, including setting up interviews and contacting the school on your behalf. We deal with all timetables for you and as you are an employee of Teaching Personnel there are no issues commonly associated with supply teaching such as tax forms, we pay through PAYE on a weekly basis meaning all of your income is your own and none goes to umbrella companies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
