Teacher of Music – Secondary School, Darwen, Lancashire
Start Date: January 2026 | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of musicians?
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Music to join our vibrant secondary school in Darwen, Lancashire, from January 2026. This is an exciting temp-to-perm position, offering the chance to make a lasting impact in a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and creative music lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Inspire students of all abilities to develop a love for music and performance
  • Contribute to the school’s thriving extracurricular programme, including concerts, ensembles, and productions
  • Work collaboratively within a passionate and dedicated department

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a specialism in Music
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to motivate and challenge students
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to enriching the wider school community through music

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
