Full-Time Music Teacher (Temporary Cover) – Secondary School, Chorley
Location: Chorley
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (3rd November – 19th December)
School Type: Secondary
Key Stages: KS3 – KS4
Start Date: Monday 3rd November 2025
End Date: Friday 19th December 2025

Are you a passionate and creative Music Teacher looking for a short-term opportunity to inspire young musicians?

A well-regarded secondary school in Chorley is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join their team from November 3rd until December 19th. This is a full-time role covering KS3 and KS4 classes during a period of planned staff absence.

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • A commitment to engaging students through practical and theoretical music education

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • Ability to plan and deliver creative, inclusive lessons
