January Start, Thursdays Only

Long-Term Supply Role

A welcoming SEN school in Burnley is seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join their team from January. This is a long-term supply position, working Thursdays only (8:30am – 3:30pm).

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and accessible Music lessons tailored to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN).

  • Inspire creativity, confidence, and self-expression through music and performance.

  • Work collaboratively with support staff to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching experience in Music.

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable.

  • A caring, patient, and flexible approach to teaching.

  • A passion for supporting every pupil to achieve their full potential.

  • Location: Burnley

  • Day: Thursday only

  • Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

  • Start Date: January 2026

  • Contract Type: Long-term supply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
