Music Teacher

South East England, Berkshire, Bracknell

Temporary, Full-Time hours

Education and Training

£130 - £180 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging music lessons to students
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the individual needs and abilities of students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Organise and supervise music-related activities and performances
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Music or related field
  • Experience teaching music to students of varying ages and abilities

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of music theory and practical music skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Music Education
  • Experience in leading music ensembles or choirs

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a school environment
  • Full-time hours, temporary position
  • Potential for involvement in extracurricular music activities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
