Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join our education team in South West England, specifically in Dorset, Bournemouth. As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging music lessons to students, fostering a love for music and supporting their academic and personal development.

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons
  • Develop students' musical skills and knowledge
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess and provide feedback on students' progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music curriculum

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

Degree in Music Education or related field

Experience:

Experience teaching in a grammar school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Passion for music and teaching
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional music-related qualifications

Working Conditions:

This position is part-time, with the expectation of working flexible hours based on the school's schedule. The role may involve working with students of various ages and abilities, requiring adaptability and patience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
