Music Teacher

South East England, Oxfordshire, Bicester.

Permanent, Part Time.

3 Days Per Week.

£18990 - £29450 Per annum

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging music lessons to students
  • Develop and implement curriculum based on national standards
  • Assess students' musical abilities and provide feedback
  • Organise and oversee school music events and performances
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music education programme

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong musical proficiency and knowledge of various music genres
  • Ability to effectively communicate and engage with students
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proficient in using music technology and software

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Music Education

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a school setting with regular classroom hours
  • Potential involvement in extracurricular music activities
  • Collaboration with other teachers and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
