Teaching Assistants Required – Newcastle (September Start)

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to work across a number of schools in Newcastle for the new academic year starting in September.

We are looking to speak with individuals who have experience working with children in any setting – this could include schools, nurseries, youth work, or care roles. Formal qualifications are not required, but relevant experience is essential.

Ideal candidates will:

• Have experience supporting children in an educational or care-based environment

• Be confident working on a 1:1 basis and supporting small group interventions

• Have experience or a strong interest in working with children with special educational needs (SEND)

• Be reliable, proactive, and flexible in their approach to supporting pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
