Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Blackburn based School who are seeking an Instructor to start ASAP until Christmas as a minimum, however, the role could become permanent for the right candidate.

The role is within a small KS2 - 4 provision which caters for students with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and Challenging behaviours. Many of the pupils have Anxiety, OCD and / or Personality Disorder also!

The role available is for a candidate to deliver small group sessions in a range of subjects as well as supporting. For a chunk of your timetable you will be within the motor vehicle department and therefore, an interest and / or experience in Motor vehicle, mechanics or engineering is ideal, but this is not necessarily essential!

Your timetable is fairly limited in terms of delivering workshop lessons, however, for the few lessons you may have to deliver motor vehicle lectures in the workshop, you will be given assistance with planning and preparation!

The candidate suited to this role will:

- Have a can do attitude and be willing to adapt to different subjects / lessons and learn along the way

- Have experience working with pupils who are challenging in their behaviours

- Be calm, collected and confident when delivering lessons

- Be willing to spend some time in a support capacity

- Be enthusiastic, hard working and empathetic towards the needs of the pupils

The pay for this role will be between GBP75 - 90 per day dependent on experience, qualifications and timetable!

You will initially start ASAP on 3 days a week from as soon as next week, with a view to increasing to full time in the new academic year!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
