Job description

Teaching Personnel is excited to support a well-regarded secondary school in Ashford, Kent with the recruitment of an enthusiastic and skilled MFL Spanish Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and engage students in learning the Spanish language and culture across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.


The Role:

You will be responsible for delivering dynamic Spanish lessons that develop students’ language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4.

  • Use engaging teaching methods to encourage speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

  • Monitor and assess student progress in line with school and exam board expectations.

  • Contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular language activities.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.


Requirements:

  • Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT) with UK QTS is essential.

  • Degree in Spanish, Modern Languages, or related field.

  • Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • A DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
