MFL TEACHERS- WE HAVE AN EXCITING POSITION FOR YOU!

 

A mainstream secondary school in the beautiful town of Leamington Spa are seeking a qualified MFL teacher on a full time position. The school prides itself on its "team spirit" and "togetherness."

 

Hours: Full Time (Term-time only Mon- Fri; 8:30-15:15)

Rate of Pay: To Scale

Location: CV32

Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner)

 

Ideal Applicant Qualities:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (ECTs encouraged to apply)

- Degree in a Modern Foreign Language

- Experience teaching MFL within a UK secondary school

- Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum

- Strong behaviour management skills and classroom presence

- Fluent in more than 2 languages and confident teaching French and Spanish

 

Roles/Reponsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging MFL lessons to a range of abilities and year groups

- Differentiate lessons to suit individual needs in each class

- Assess pupil progress on a regular basis, providing insightful feedback to support them with their learning

- Ensure children with special educational needs are fully supported within your lessons

- Collaborate with colleagues within the department to instill a love of learning languages, in all pupils

- Maintain a commitment to safeguarding and promoting student health, safety and wellbeing
