Please see the details for an opportunity to join a small mixed comprehensive secondary school in Bury, teaching French and Spanish across KS3 and GCSE.

-          Full-time MFL teacher required, January 2021 start date.

-          Temporary role covering a maternity leave.

-          Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependent on experience (GBP25,714 - GBP41,604).

-          Applicant must hold QTS and experience teaching French & Spanish up to GCSE.

-          Small mixed comprehensive secondary school in Bury.

-          Accessible via the M66 and public transportation links from Bolton and Rochdale.

Our partner secondary school and sixth form are currently looking to appoint a full-time French and Spanish teacher to cover a maternity leave within the MFL department. This temporary post will commence from January 2021, and will continue initially until the end of the academic year but may be subject to continuation. It is essential that the incoming French and Spanish teacher has experience teaching across Key Stage Three and GCSE, and can display good to outstanding teaching.

The successful French and Spanish teacher will be expected to deliver a full timetable across both Key Stage Three and GCSE, alongside partaking in full departmental planning and marking. Lessons must be assessed to meet the needs of all pupils with differentiation in tasks for those who require it to ensure an inclusive learning environment for all.

Situated in Bury, our partner secondary school and sixth form can easily be accessed via the M66 through central Bury. For non-drivers there are a number of public transportation links that lead directly to school from Bolton, Rochdale and central Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
