You will provide one-on-one support to students, helping them develop coping strategies, manage anxiety, and build resilience. Additionally, you will collaborate with mental health professionals, therapists, and other specialists to implement personalized support plans tailored to each student's needs.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for supporting the mental health and well-being of students with special needs.
- Previous experience working with individuals facing mental health challenges, preferably in an educational or therapeutic setting.
- Knowledge of various mental health conditions and effective strategies for supporting students with diverse needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, parents, and staff members.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
