Mental health support workers - September 2019 - Rochdale

Job description

A Children's residential home situated in Rochdale are currently looking to appoint mental health support workers who are able to start immediately. Experience working in a children's residential setting, care home or specialist PRU is desirable but not essential as long as you can display high levels of emotional and physical resilience.

The Mental Health Support Worker will have:

- An in-depth understanding of how to apply de-escalation tactics

- Experience working with vulnerable pupils IE experience in residential/ PRU's or SEMH Settings

- The ability to form strong work relationships with service users and staff members

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
