Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Lecturer

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Job Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester

Job Salary: £26,500 - £34,500 per annum

 

Are you currently seeking a new role within Education to start in September? Teaching Personnel Permanent Workforce are currently working alongside an Ofsted rated 'Good' FE College in the Greater Manchester area who are seeking a new Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join their team in the new academic year. 

 

The main duties of this role: 

  • You will be required to teach Mechanical Engineering up to Level 3
  • Liase frequently with the Head of Department to discuss new ways to expand and develop the Curriculum
  • Offer evening classes or in depth 1-to-1 lessons with students where needed
  • Work alongside the Technician on site to offer a higher learning potential for the students

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience teaching Mechanical Engineering up to Level 3 (On site or within a College setting)
  • Have a recognised Teaching Qualification, or a willingness to work towards one (PTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed or Equivalent). This may affect Salary expectations
  • Have a relevant qualification in the Subject area (Bachelors minimum ideally)
  • A valid DBS Registered on the Update Service, or an Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
