Maths Tutor

A flexible and rewarding opportunity for an individual with strong Maths knowledge to provide tailored tuition to pupils who are struggling with the subject.

A large and vibrant secondary school are seeking the support a Maths Tutor on flexible temporary basis to help raise attainment in secondary Maths ahead of when school's return. 

The Maths Tutor will be focused and determined, and able to work with identified pupils in small groups and on 1:1 who are identified as requiring intervention with GCSE Maths.  

Key Aspects of the Maths Tutor role:

-          Supporting pupils who are grade borderline in GCSE Maths

-          Starting when the school's return on a flexible, temporary basis (e.g. couple of days or hours a week)

-          Providing tailored tuition Key Stage 4 Maths to prepare pupils for future exams

-          Planning sessions in line with where the support is needed with guidance from the school

-          Have a flexible and adaptable approach to learning

-          Paid GBP10-25 per hour, depending on experience and levels of qualification

-          Bolton based secondary school, just 5 minutes from the town centre

The successful candidate for the role of Maths Tutor will have excellent subject knowledge of the current Secondary Maths curriculum and able to support with Key Stage 4 Maths. You will be experienced or confident in proving tuition, whether it be from a teaching career, tutoring or hold a degree which covers the subject of Maths.
