GCSE Maths Tutor – Wythenshawe (M22)
Help students build confidence and succeed in Maths ahead of their exams.
We’re looking for a skilled and encouraging tutor to deliver GCSE Maths tuition to pupils in Wythenshawe. This role involves working one-to-one with young people who are not currently attending mainstream school. Tuition sessions take place in the pupil’s home or in a local public space, such as a library.
Many of these learners need extra support to fill gaps in their knowledge, improve their confidence, and prepare for their exams. You’ll have the chance to make a real difference to their education and future prospects.
This role would suit a qualified teacher or experienced tutor who enjoys working on a one-to-one basis and creating personalised learning plans.
About the role:

Support secondary-age pupils in GCSE Maths (foundation and higher levels).

Plan and deliver engaging, tailored sessions that meet individual learning needs.

Help pupils build confidence and develop key skills for exams.

Work flexibly, with sessions during school hours (Monday to Friday).
What we’re looking for:

Strong knowledge of the GCSE Maths curriculum.

Teaching experience, ideally with secondary-age learners.

Patient, adaptable, and able to motivate pupils who may lack confidence.

An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
