GCSE Maths Tutor – Wythenshawe (M22)
Help students build confidence and succeed in Maths ahead of their exams.

We’re looking for a skilled and encouraging tutor to deliver GCSE Maths tuition to pupils in Wythenshawe. This role involves working one-to-one with young people who are not currently attending mainstream school. Tuition sessions take place in the pupil’s home or in a local public space, such as a library.

Many of these learners need extra support to fill gaps in their knowledge, improve their confidence, and prepare for their exams. You’ll have the chance to make a real difference to their education and future prospects.

This role would suit a qualified teacher or experienced tutor who enjoys working on a one-to-one basis and creating personalised learning plans.

About the role:

  • Support secondary-age pupils in GCSE Maths (foundation and higher levels).

  • Plan and deliver engaging, tailored sessions that meet individual learning needs.

  • Help pupils build confidence and develop key skills for exams.

  • Work flexibly, with sessions during school hours (Monday to Friday).

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong knowledge of the GCSE Maths curriculum.

  • Teaching experience, ideally with secondary-age learners.

  • Patient, adaptable, and able to motivate pupils who may lack confidence.

  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

What we offer:

  • £25–£30 per hour, paid weekly.

  • Flexible working hours to suit your schedule.

  • Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.

  • The chance to make a real impact outside of a traditional classroom.

If you’re ready to use your skills to help learners achieve their potential in Maths, apply now with your CV.
