Maths Tutor – Nottingham (NG4)

Are you passionate about Maths and driven to help students succeed? We’re looking for a dedicated Maths Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition in Nottingham (NG4).

This is your opportunity to step away from the pressures of a full classroom and focus on what really matters — helping students build confidence, master key concepts, and achieve their academic goals.


The Role

As a Maths Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver engaging 1:1 Maths tuition (KS3/KS4/GCSE)
  • Break down complex topics into clear, manageable steps
  • Support exam preparation and build strong problem-solving skills
  • Adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles
  • Track progress and celebrate improvements

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience teaching or tutoring Maths at secondary level
  • Strong knowledge of the GCSE Maths curriculum
  • Ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
