Maths Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working with a secondary school in the Hythe area of Southampton, who are looking for a teaching assistant to assist and work within the Maths Department with key stage 3 and 4 students on a full time basis. This role would be perfect for a graduate looking to gain experience within schools to progress further or a experienced teaching assistant looking for a fresh start in their career.

The school we are working with achieved academy status in 2016 and were graded "outstanding" in their last Ofsted report in 2017. The school is a fully comprehensive school placed at the heart of the community, wanting all of their students to be happy, ambitious and achieve results that reflect their true potential.

To be a successful candidate for this role you will need to;

• Have previous experience working within a school setting
• Be able to communicate effectively with different members of staff and parents
• Have knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Have a friendly caring personality
