Russell Group Graduate – Maths Academic Mentor/Teaching Assistant – North London Secondary school | September start

  • Maths Graduate from Russell Group University
  • £60-80 per day for Maths teaching Assistant experience
  • Long Term/Interim, Full-Time role for as Maths Graduate as a Maths Teaching Assistant in a Outstanding English Department

An impressive North London Secondary school are seeking a Russell Group University Graduate to join their impressive department for this academic year.

The Ideal candidate

We are looking for a motivated Maths graduate who has achieved a 2:1 degree or higher in their studied discipline believes that career in teaching is one they wish to pursue. This post needs a graduate with the capability to explain a variety of topics in a coherent, efficient way that will reach even the lowest performing students.

About the Role

In this Academic Mentoring post you will be working in the department that most closely correlates with your skills, experiences, and formal qualifications. You will be working with pupils who are struggling in Maths and you will be helping them reach their targets. As an Academic mentor you will work 1:1 and in small groups with talented and gifted children, as well as challenging pupils.

The School has a track record of developing talented Maths Graduates and Teaching Assistants into Teachers through Schools Direct.
