Maths Teacher, Tameside School January start

Tameside Secondary School require a teacher of Mathematics for January 2018. This is a full time position on a long term basis for two terms initially, teaching Maths at this Good graded Ofsted School. The school has outstanding state of the art facilities and modern teaching aids enhancing your ability to engage students within their learning.

Relatively large in size with over 1000 students on roll the school are looking to appoint the successful Maths teacher in the upcoming weeks. You will need to have QTS in the UK and experience teaching Maths across Year groups 7-11. The successful Mathematician will be expected to continue the Maths department's trend in recent years of increasing student attainment currently achieving on par with national averages.

In 2015 the school achieved a Good Ofsted rating with management and senior leadership highlighted as a particular strength. Located in the M34 post code of Tameside the school has above average levels of pupils eligible for free school meals due to its diverse catchment area.

Highlights of this Maths post;

**Pay ranging form £95-£150 per day dependant on your scale point

**Teaching Maths to students whose behaviour is graded Good

**Full time Maths teaching position until July 2018 at least

**Excellent facilities and access to the schools CPD academy

This post would be well suited to an experienced Maths teacher looking for a new challenge or a recently qualified teacher looking to work in a school with career development opportunities.
