Maths Teacher Tameside

Large Academy School in Tameside are looking to appoint a Maths teacher in September due to a gap within the Maths department. The school has outstanding modern facilities and teaching aids making it an excellent place to teach Mathematics. Academically the school is looking to improve its performance in Maths on recent years and would be looking for a passionate Mathematician who can engage students of all ability levels.

This post will be on an introductory basis initially for a term through Teaching Personnel with the option to earn a school based permanent or fixed term contract. There are high levels of students who use English as additional language at 32% and those eligible for free school meals at 44%.

The timetable will involve KS3 and KS4 with the option to teach Year 11 GCSE Groups if desired. Maths teacher looking to apply for this post will need to have qualified teacher status in the UK, experience of delivering the UK Curriculum, suitable teaching references from previous employment and eligibility for a fully enhanced BDS certificate on the update service.
