Maths Teacher - South Liverpool - ASAP

The UK's leading education agency, Teaching Personnel, are currently supporting a co-educational secondary school in South Liverpool as they wish to appoint a Maths teacher on a full time basis ASAP.

Due to an open vacancy in the Maths department, the secondary school located in South Liverpool are looking for a dedicated teacher of Maths to join the department as soon as possible. This will be a full time Maths teacher post until February initially, with a view of becoming permanent if the incoming Maths teacher is a good fit for the school.

Key Aspects:

  • Full time Maths teacher required in South Liverpool - ASAP
  • Open vacancy - view to become permanent from February
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS - ÂŁ23,720 - ÂŁ39,406
  • Teaching a full Maths timetable across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE)
  • Well structured and supportive secondary school
  • Both Newly Qualified Maths teachers and those with experience are encouraged to apply
  • Applicants must hold QTS, specialising in secondary Maths

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a full timetable in line with the current national curriculum (KS3 and KS4)
  • Confident delivering lessons to all pupil abilities and be flexible in your approach to teaching.
  • Take on full departmental responsibility: planning and marking, revision sessions, internal training and parent's evening when required.

You will join a thriving and inclusive catholic secondary school in South Liverpool. The school boats modern learning facilities and is looking for a Maths teacher to join their team who will deliver inspiring and engaging maths lessons to encourage pupil to reach their full potential in the subject.
