Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

Due to a gap in the department we are actively searching for a Maths Teacher or strong Maths NQT to start a full time position in September 2019. The successful applicant will have experience teaching Maths to both KS3 and GCSE level and have a passion for teaching and increasing confidence of pupils through inspiring lesson plans.

  • Full time position teaching Maths to KS4 starting in September 2019
  • Pay in line with scale point (£22917 - £38,633)
  • Working at modern school in Doncaster with state of the art facilities

The successful candidate will either be a strong Maths Teacher with experience teaching KS4 level, or alternatively applications from Maths NQT's would be considered if they show the determination and potential to become outstanding Maths Teachers in the future. The role would involve working with a wide variety of age groups so the Maths teacher must be adaptable in their approach to teaching in an aim to raise attainment across all age groups in the school.

Our client school is a large modern academy based in Doncaster. There has recently been a big refurbishment within the academy, which is reflected in the improvements made in the school. With state of the art facilities and a strong supportive Maths department this is a perfect opportunity for Maths NQT seeking their first position, or for a more experience Teacher of Maths looking for a new challenge in September.

If this position is of interest to you or you would like to hear of other opportunities in the Doncaster area then call Josh at Teaching Personnel on 0114 241 3341.

Alternatively reply to this advert with a copy of your CV and cover letter to request a call back about this position.
