Maths Teacher or Newly Qualified Maths Teacher required for full time position starting in September 2019 within large modern secondary school in Oldham.

Due to an upcoming gap in department the Head of Maths is seeking an additional Maths Teacher in the new academic year to join the department on a full time basis. The incoming Maths Teacher will be joining a very welcoming and supportive department which currently consists of 7 other Maths Teachers, including 2 NQTs. With consistent investment in the school, this can be seen within the Maths department thanks to the state of the art facilities resulting in excellent teaching and learning provisions for all. Based in the heart of Oldham, the school is easily accessible by public transport as well as those with their own vehicle, with free on site parking provided for staff.

The Head Teacher has opened this vacancy to both Newly Qualified Maths Teachers seeking an introduction to their first post as well as more experienced Maths Teachers seeking a new challenge in the upcoming academic year. With a very supportive department and an excellent NQT programme, any Newly Qualified Maths Teachers can benefit from a bespoke training and development programme to ensure they have the best foundations possible for an excellent career in education. There will also be options to take on added responsibility for more experienced Maths Teachers who have previous experience in a similar role, or for confident individuals looking to take their career to the next level.

  • Suitable for both Maths Teachers and Maths NQTs
  • Paid in line with teaching scale point and responsibilities (£23,720 - £39,406)
