Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Full time position for a Maths Teacher in an outstanding school. The position commences in September 2019 and is initially a temporary position which will involve working until July 2020. There could be potential for a permanent position dependent on school funding and teacher performance.
The setting is an outstanding Multi Academy Trust which runs across 4 sites all of which are located in Oldham. Sites cater for pupils between 4 - 19 with a Statement of SEN or an EHCP, on the autistic spectrum and/or have significant communication and interaction difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
The role will involve planning and delivering lessons that are designed to foster the Maths development of pupils with SEN. Due to the specific needs of the pupils we would be interested in teachers who have experience of working with pupils with SEN in some capacity. The ideal Teacher will ideally have experience working within a special school setting; however this is not essential as long as the teacher can demonstrate a passion for working with SEN.
The ideal Teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (essential)
- Team-Teach training (desirable can be provided)
- Experience working with pupils with SEN in some capacity
- The ability to build positive working relationships with pupils, school support staff, other teachers and parents
If you feel that you have the appropriate qualifications, skills and attributes for the role, please apply directly.
