Maths Teacher - North Manchester

Are you an experienced Maths Teacher looking for your next role?

Due to an upcoming gap in the department from September 2019, our partner school in North Manchester are seeking to appoint an experienced Maths Teacher on a fixed term contract for an initial 12 month period. This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career at modern secondary school, with the potential of earning a permanent contract for the following academic year.

  • Full time Teacher of Mathematics from September 2019
  • 12 month fixed term contract
  • Opportunity for a permanent contract for the following academic year
  • Modern secondary school in North Manchester
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£23,720-£39,406)

Our partner secondary school is located in the Harpurhey area of North Manchester and is currently oversubscribed with over 1100 students enrolled from the surrounding areas of Cheetham Hill and Moston. The school is a short walk from a tram stop, several bus routes and is a short drive from Manchester City Centre. The school is popular within the local community and has a positive Progress 8 score which is also well above the national average.

Our school opened in September 2010 with a cohort of year seven students and is continuing to grow and flourish. We are looking for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a successful department with a proven track record of providing a quality curriculum." Headteacher.

As a Maths Teacher at our partner school, the successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver quality lessons at both KS3 and KS4 level. All teachers in the department follow up-to-date and detailed schemes of work which are supported through online resources. Prospective candidates should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) within the UK or have relevant teaching qualifications.
