Teaching Personnel are currently working with one of our 'Good' partner schools local to Kettering who is seeking an inspirational and motivational Maths teacher to join the department for the new academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to continue your career at a supportive and inclusive secondary school.

  • Full time Teacher of Maths from September 2019
  • Initial one year placement, with a strong chance of earning a permanent contract
  • 'Good' secondary school in Northamptonshire
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£23,720-£39,406)

Our partner secondary school are graded 'Good' by Ofsted and have an excellent reputation within the local community due to years of consistently strong GCSE results. More students are achieving passes in Maths as well as English and year-on-year achievement in science is well above the national average. The redesigned curriculum meets the needs of all students as well as the requirements of Progress 8. The school underwent a 26 million pound refurbishment providing them with a new building which provides a modern learning environment.

As a Maths teacher at our partner secondary school prospective applicants should have:

  • QTS, NQT Status or other relevant qualifications
  • Experience teaching Maths to both KS3 and KS4
  • An ability to inspire children from a range of backgrounds and of different abilities
