Maths Teaching Positions Available in a Nottinghamshire Secondary Schools - New Academic Year

Teaching Personnel is currently looking to recruit Math teachers to join one of our fantastic and trusted partner school’s dedicated team of teachers and support staff. The successful educator will begin their full-time placement in September, in time for the new academic year. This is an exciting opportunity for driven teachers who are committed to providing innovative and creative lessons, as our this school is committed to providing the best learning experience for students of all learning styles and levels.

  • Level: Secondary

What the role entails:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons that inspire and engage students.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to challenge and support students of all abilities.
  • Work collaboratively with the Maths department to plan and implement work schemes and assessment strategies.
  • Encourage and maintain student engagement.
  • Monitor student progress and identify improvement areas.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Mathematics curriculum, and stay up-to-date with the latest teaching and learning strategies.
  • Ensure a positive learning environment is provided, with high regard to safe guarding procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A relevant teaching qualification
  • ETC or QTS holders are encouraged to apply
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics education.
  • Experience in covering and/or teaching within a classroom environment 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students and students
  • Behaviour management skills
  • DBS checks (TP can assist)
  • 2 professional references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
