Maths Teacher - Bradford

Maths Teacher needed for a large secondary school in Bradford.

Start Date: February 2020 with the option for negotiation to start later.

Position: Full time - Long Term Cover

Pay Rates: Paid to Teacher pay scale (MPS/UPS)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified Maths Teacher in a mixed ability Secondary School on a full time basis.

As a company we have worked alongside schools within the Bradford and Calderdale area for over 10 years. Developing these relationships has enabled us to ensure we have the pupil’s education and support at the forefront of every action. Working in partnership with Teaching Personnel our partner secondary school is currently searching for a Maths teacher with the drive and passion for raising student attainment.

The School and Position

  • Fixed term contract starting February 2020 till the end of the academic year
  • Position has the possibilities of becoming a permanent school contract
  • Maths teacher for secondary school pupils aged between 11-18
  • A short drive from the city centre and very easily accessible on public transport from Bradford City Centre
  • Pay in line with Teacher Pay scale

The successful Maths teacher and the role:

  • Qualified teachers including NQT’s to apply
  • Have UK teacher experience of teaching Maths to at least KS3 and KS4
  • Show the capabilities to teach mixed abilities and dealing with challenging behaviour
  • The suitable candidate will have strong subject knowledge as this role does require detailed awareness of the national curriculum
