Teacher of Maths - Doncaster

I am partnered with an ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED rated Academy based in the Doncaster area on the M18 corridor stretching up to Doncaster Airport.

They are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher that holds either Newly Qualified Teacher status (NQT) or Fully Qualified Teacher status (FQT) until the end of the year covering a maternity post that is expected to last until the end of the academic year. The individual shall have previous experience of teaching Maths right up to KS5. However, experience of teaching KS3 and KS4 shall be considered.

The role shall be working alongside an experienced team that thrive on taking the Academy to the next level. In return, they shall be offering an attractive rate of up to £187 p/d along with attractive other benefits as planning and preparation shall be involved.

The vision of Academy is to provide a centre of academic excellence where all students and staff have the opportunity to work hard to achieve their personal best. Their mission, therefore, is to encourage personal, moral and spiritual development within a Christian framework whilst creating a disciplined, sensitive environment where everyone is equally valued.

The Principal, senior leaders and governors are relentless in their pursuit of better teaching and outcomes for all groups of students. The Coaching of staff and regular monitoring have led to good improvements since the previous inspection. This results in students making good progress in academic and vocational courses.
