Maths teacher - Teacher of Maths

  • Full time maternity cover from october half term
  • Ofsted graded 'Good' 11-16 mixed sex secondary school
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant upon experience

Maths teacher required at a Rochdale Secondary School from October half term

- Maths teacher required on a full time basis to cover maternity leave

- High achieving school who achieve results well above the national average

- 11-16 mixed comprehensive located in central Rochdale

- Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant upon experience

We are actively recruiting on behalf of our client school in Rochdale to cover a maternity leave within the Maths department of this Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school. This is an excellent opportunity for any Maths teachers looking to gain a long term temporary position in a school where you will receive full support from a strong department.

The department seek to appoint a Maths teacher who is confident and competent delivering both KS3 and GCSE Maths to all pupil abilities. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver engaging lessons and differentiate to cater for all pupils learning no matter what their levels. The successful applicant will hold a predominately KS3 focused timetable but will be required to teach a selection of GCSE classes.

This is an average sized secondary school with around 950 pupils on roll. Located in the centre of Rochdale, the School is easily accessible as it is only a few minutes drive from the M62 and has direct transport links to the surrounding areas.

The school are looking to meet suitable applicants prior to the half term period with the view to appointing ASAP.
