Teaching Personnel are pleased to be working with a Good school in Brentwood, Essex - who are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Maths teacher who can join them for the rest of the academic year, at least.

The timetable is not completely full-time. You will be required to work 7.5 days over the 10 days on their 2 week rotational timetable. It will be mainly Key Stage 3 Maths however, you may be required to teach some Year 10 GCSE Maths. They may be able to extend the contract through the to the end of the summer term but there will be less hours after May half term due to permanent teachers having more flexibility as Year 11 lessons finish.

The school are a GOOD school with a Christian ethos, so you must be prepared to honour and teach to the Christian values. They are an averaged sized school with a Sixth Form also. The school meets government floor standards as well as having pupils who achieve well above the national average. The reading and writing skills are excellent and the teaching is on the whole good. The leadership is outstanding as the this is the same as the behaviour, where the teachers and students create a calm atmosphere.
