Large Salford secondary school is seeking to appoint a skilled Maths teacher to join their department at the earliest convenience, to cover an open vacancy until the end of the academic year. There will be the opportunity for the successful Maths teacher to secure a permanent full-time position in September 2019.

  • Full-time Maths teacher required to join the school at the earliest opportunity.
  • Guaranteed until the end of the academic year, with the opportunity to secure a permanent post in the new academic year.
  • Must hold QTS alongside subject specific equalisation within Mathematics.
  • Applications are urged from both experienced and newly qualified Maths teachers.
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS £23,720 - £39,406 per annum.

The incoming Maths teacher can expect to join a renowned secondary school which has consistently implemented strategies to overcome challenges and improve pupil outcomes across all age groups. Having recently had a restructure within the Senior Leadership Team, the school are now seeking a passionate Maths teacher to join their staff team at the earliest opportunity.

The incoming Maths teacher will be required to;

  • Motivate, challenge and inspire pupils within the Maths department across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Be committed to raising the achievement of every pupil at all levels of learning.
  • Have high expectations and be committed to the school values, ethos and vision;
  • Be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure the highest standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved.

This respected secondary school is based in the Worsley region of Salford, Greater Manchester, it is easily accessible via the M60/A580 (East Lancashire Road) and the surrounding areas; Bolton, bury and Wigan. There are also various public transport options readily available with links across Greater Manchester.
