Full-time Mathematics teacher required after October half term for a Secondary School in Bolton.

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large mixed comprehensive secondary school in the Bolton area to support with the recruitment of a full-time temporary Mathematics teacher. Due to a last minute staffing change, our client school are looking to appoint a new Maths teacher prior to the half term break.

-          Full-time Mathematics teacher, required from October half term 2019 until the end of the academic year.

-          Teaching a full timetable, across Key Stage Three and GCSE.

-          Must hold QTS alongside subject specific qualifications within Mathematics.

-          Both experienced and newly qualified Mathematics teachers are welcome to apply as relevant induction support will be provided.

-          Pay in line with teaching scale point (GBP23,720 - GBP39,406 per annum).

-          Secondary school looking for ambitious staff to help improve overall student attainment.

The incoming Mathematics teacher will be required to:

  • Deliver pupil centred lessons throughout the creation of comprehensive lesson plans
  • Incorporate various methods of teaching to ensure pupils are actively engaged and understand the materials clearly
  • Collaborate with senior teachers in order to establish new activities to boost students’ attainment and allocate resources correctly.

Our client school is based in Bolton and is accessible via both the M60 and M61 from areas such as Salford and Bury. For non-driver s, the school is also accessible by public transport with direct links from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
