Talented practitioner with Maths specialism needed for 'Good' School in Basingstoke!
The School is a 'Good' graded Secondary Academy, with a great deal to offer Staff and Students alike. The role would suit a dynamic and passionate specialist Maths Teacher, who is passionate about their subject and the progress of their Students. The successful Candidate will be a self starter, proactive and enthusiastic; able to contribute fully to the Department and the wider School community.
The School is a vibrant and diverse place to work, and Staff teach across the age and ability range in every Department. All Departments benefit from strong leadership and a culture of collegiality, the Maths Department has a dedicated Head of Department committed to Staff development. Maths is taught in excellent facilities on our large School site, with well resourced learning environments to promote Student engagement.
Basingstoke is the largest town in Hampshire, as such the School enjoys good transport links and excellent amenities. Located 30 miles North of the city of Southampton in North Hampshire, Basingstoke and the School itself are easily commutable to London and other major cities. The School is fully inclusive and serves its local community, taking in a mixed cohort from across the town each year.

- Are suitably qualified with UK QTS, or equivalent overseas qualification
