Maths Teacher – Secondary School – Weymouth

Start Date: May 2026 | Paid to Scale | Full‑Time

A respected secondary school in Weymouth is looking to appoint a committed Maths Teacher to join their thriving department. This full‑time position is suitable for both experienced teachers and enthusiastic ECTs looking to complete their induction in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of learners of all abilities
  • Support students in developing strong numeracy and problem‑solving skills
  • Work closely with a successful and forward‑thinking Maths department
  • Contribute to CPD, whole‑school initiatives, and extracurricular activities

Role Details

  • Location: Weymouth, Dorset
  • Start Date: May 2026
  • Contract: Full‑time | Permanent or long‑term
  • Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Has experience teaching Maths up to GCSE level
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice
  • Is committed to supporting students to achieve their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
