A respected secondary school in Weymouth is looking to appoint a committed Maths Teacher to join their thriving department. This full‑time position is suitable for both experienced teachers and enthusiastic ECTs looking to complete their induction in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
- Deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of learners of all abilities
- Support students in developing strong numeracy and problem‑solving skills
- Work closely with a successful and forward‑thinking Maths department
- Contribute to CPD, whole‑school initiatives, and extracurricular activities
Role Details
- Location: Weymouth, Dorset
- Start Date: May 2026
- Contract: Full‑time | Permanent or long‑term
- Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Has experience teaching Maths up to GCSE level
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice
- Is committed to supporting students to achieve their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
