Inspire Young Minds as an SEN KS3 Maths Teacher

 

Location: Salisbury
Salary: £32,916 - £42,057
Start Date: January 2026

 

Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of young learners? A brand-new special education free school in Salisbury is seeking a KS3 Maths Teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and committed to empowering students with special educational needs.

 

Your Role:

  • Deliver engaging and accessible Maths lessons to KS3 students (Years 7–9) with diverse needs including SEMH, ASC, and behavioural challenges
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of TAs and senior leaders to create a nurturing, structured, and inspiring learning environment
  • Use your creativity and resilience to adapt lessons and support each student’s unique learning journey

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong Maths subject knowledge and experience delivering Maths curriculum
  • A compassionate, patient, and innovative approach to teaching
  • Experience working with SEN students (in or outside of school settings)
  • Excellent communication and de-escalation skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
