Maths Teacher – Full-Time

Location: Salford
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: M1 – UPS1 (in line with the teacher pay scale)
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
Key Stages: KS3 & GCSE (11–16)

We are partnering with a large, successful secondary school in Salford that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their thriving department from September 2026.

The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their potential.
  • Take responsibility for planning, preparation, assessment, and marking.
  • Differentiate learning to support students of varying abilities and needs.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Maths up to GCSE level
  • A passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
